Georgia WIC & Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition and Education Conference
The WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program is associated with the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children, popularly known as WIC. Established in 1992 by Congress, the FMNP provides fresh, unprepared, locally grown fruits and vegetables to WIC participants to expand the awareness, use of and sales at farmers’ markets.
Over 200 attendees including front-line staff, certified professional authorities, and community partners are expected at this conference.
